Methodological Innovation Plan for Teaching in bilingual and excellence centres
By actively participating in this plan, the training of students is carried out simultaneously while combining hands-on teaching in classrooms at University along with implemented internships at schools. Thus, students go to the school in the morning (throughout the complete course) and to the Faculty in the afternoon. They also have one free day per week to carry out any autonomous work.
Training in a Foreign Language: English
All course subjects for the obtainment of the Degree will be taught in English except for those which, due to their curricular content, correspond to the areas of Spanish or Valencian:

Erasmus Programme Semester during third course year (Optional)

Qualifying double major: Training of English and Information & Communications Technology (ICT)
Students will simultaneously study a double major
: English as a foreign language major
and ICT major
which has five subjects:
Qualifying Program of Teaching English as a Second Language –TESL
- English Grammar: English Morpho-Syntax and Semantics (Advanced)
- English Phonetics and Phonology (Advanced)
- Teaching of ESL and Children´s Literature
- Advanced English Writing
- Oral Expression and Anglo-saxon Cultures
- New Technologies and Education.
- Digital technology and its implication in education.
- Design and evaluation of educational didactic materials.
- New Information and Communications Technology as a didactic resource for Primary Education.
- Management and Innovation for New Technologies at school.
Intracurricular itinerary for enabling linguistics in the Valencian and English language
Students may take the itinerary leading to the achievement of the title of Capacitació per l’Ensenyament en Valencià and English (24 ECTS, Autonomous Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, Order 17/2013, 15th April). And the itinerary leading to the achievement of the title of Mestre de Valencià (32 ECTS, Autonomous Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, Order 17/2013, 15th April).
Certificate for a 1500-hour internship (European supplement)
A certificate for participating in a 1,500-hour internship will be issued, which will be included with the European Supplement title.
Proper University Degree, Expert in Cultural Diversity Management
Students may earn a degree from our own university, which has 24 ECTS, where 12 ECTS are acknowledged for international mobility.
Double European Qualification (European Degree)
Students will have the opportunity of simultaneously earning a double qualified Degree with another European University, along with the Degree earned at UCV.
Students may complete their training itinerary by enrolling in a Master´s
University Master’s Degree in Technological Innovation in Education.
Master’s Degree for the Training of Compulsory Secondary Education Teachers, Post-compulsory Schooling, Vocational Training and Languages (possible specialities: English and Computing).
