2 years in Madrid + 2 years in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
Students interested in pursuing a degree in music may start their studies in Madrid before transferring to the St. Louis campus to complete the degree.
Our Music Department offers courses in both music history and theory, both for students pursuing a degree in music as well as those looking to take music classes as electives. In addition, faculty members provide instrumental lessons in guitar, piano and voice for credit. Instrumental and voice lessons are offered at all levels: for complete beginners all the way up to aspiring professional musicians. Performance opportunities for musicians abound. At SLU-Madrid you will have the chance to join our concert choir, which performs music from a variety of time periods, countries and styles, with a special emphasis on Spanish choral music.
Our admission criteria are flexible in order to accommodate students coming from different educational systems.
Students who have completed their secondary education in the Spanish system must present their marks from the 3rd and 4th year of ESO as well as 1st and 2nd years of Bachillerato, and they must pass Selectividad. Additionally, we require an official academic English exam (TOEFL or IELTS).
